Successful project handover for Roche LSL in Kaiseraugst
Happy faces for the Drees & Sommer project team for the LSL office and production building of F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Kaiseraugst, Basel: The property was handed over to the customer on time on 5 April 2019. Roche project manager Hans Tanner and user representative Frans Hoeks praised the project. Drees & Sommer was already commissioned as general planner in 2012. In addition to the architects Burckhardt & Partner AG, a total of up to 15 planning offices were subcontracted as part of the general planning mandate. Around 30 colleagues from various teams of Drees & Sommer were involved.
The services provided included project management, energy design, building physics, site logistics, user management, scheduling and document management in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements. The ceremony took place in the entrance area of the new "Late Stage Development & Small Molecules Launch Facility" (short: LSL). The new building is part of the strategic development for the future at the headquarters in Basel and the neighbouring Kaiseraugst.
